We put Defender on all of our horses: around their eyes, noses, chins, hooves and coats, to keep the flies off them and to help their coats & hooves stay shiny, healthy and bug free. This stuff works and this stuff lasts. There is nothing better. All the other animals on the ranch here like it too, and I am comforted to know that it is not going to harm them either.

We went camping at the lake with friends recently, and although fun at times, was hell in the beginning because of all of the mosquitoes relentlessly bothering and biting us.
